Knots of Boatmen! – Sunday 22 October 2023
The Museum of River Navigation of Battaglia Terme, Sunday 22 October 2023 at 4 pm, proposes by popular demand, the workshop for kids and adults: THE KNOTS OF BOATMEN!
A special, funny and hands-on workshop, that will challenge everyone with one of the most ancient sailing arts: the art of knots.
Following the guided visit of the Museum, we will find out what knots the boatmen made, what they were called and what ropes they used. At the end of the visit, the participants will be able to test themselves to create a book of sailing knots to take home.
It will be a challenging and creative workshop, which will give all participants a UNIQUE Sunday.
